it deffinatly looks like lansum there are a few lansums on ancestry born in glouster,maybe thats them angie xx

Ellen Sophia Sansum born 1850 June Birmgham 16 372....is the closest and only thing I can get to make sense.

edward green marries eleanor crompton eleanor green then marries robert gibson how can she be born eleanor ---ansum ?....she might be a step daughter? or sh e married before then !!

I reckon the name is SANSUM a long verical econmical S can look like an I There are lots of Sansums

been sent marriage cert for robert gibson and elenoar green eleneors maiden name is lansum her dad was mark lansum and 1 of the wittnesses was a henry lansum hope this info will further my search looking for lansum on 1841-51 census angie

on family search found a marriage for edward green and an eleanor crompton married 1874 cant find marriage for eleanor lansum and edward green angie xx

lansum was eleanors maiden name green was her married name she later married my great grandad robert gibson in 1892 angie xx

Just want to check - if Green is Eleanor's maiden name, how come her daughter was also Green? Was she illigitimate?? Do you have any details about father / husband? Was Nelly her real name or short for something?

eleanor green born 1851 had a daughter nelly green 1885 birmingham area also 1841-51 census with eleanor lansum on it if possible many thanks angie xx
