Ok ive had enough now its driving me MAD..... John Kyte Born 1817 in Beausall Hatton Warwickshire, married to Ann Born 1821 in Haseley Warks on 1841 surname spelt KYTE on 1851 surname spelt THYTE then he disappears no sign of him in 1861 or 1871, i have his death in 1880 and i know his latest child was born 1865. Can anyone figure out how else his surname might be transcribed on census...i have tried KEYTE because i know some of family used that spelling. PLEASE HELP TO SAVE MY SANITY....so i can go and walk my dog as he keeps looking at me to say get of pc hahahaha

Well you probably tried just using first name and details have you? Kyle jumps to mind or Hyle/hyte Ryte. BUT you may have to accept he is on a missing page, like a lot of mine. Where were the kiddies born? Where did he die?

Elaine, the first one isn't him cos that one is still alive in 1881. I'm sure the 2nd lot is the right family (notice daughter Elizabeth born c1865), but why is Robert the head and not John?

You say the last child was born in 1865 - name and place of birth please ??

Last child was Elizabeth...in beausall..1865 Ann was johns wife....but in 1861 she is down as the wife of robert who was johns brother...all the children that you have listed are johns.....but i think the reason ann is listed with robert is that it was a family farm and they all lived together....on 1851 census(THYTE) their father and other brother and sister are there to...i know this is very confusing.

I wonder if John was known as John Robert, or Robert John, and alternated between these names on the census. do you have his marriage certificate with Ann

No i dont have his wedding cert His father Robert was born 1774 was a widower by 1851 He also had anolder brother Robert B 1809 (this is the one listed on 1861 census)
