Hi all, Can anyone help? St Mary's Catholic Church. (also known as St Benets prior to 1780's I think.) St Peters C of E. Both churches situated in Much Woolton, near Liverpool. Are there records available prior to 1756? I have some records, from these churches, that I searched for many years ago. My ealiest was 1789. I have been searching for my ancesters, and as the 1841 census had become available, I tried once again, in vain. Eventhough the family have been having children baptised in the Much Woolton area, I have not been able to find them on the 1841-51-61-71 census's. As I now live quite a distance from the nearest research centre that I would be able to check the information, as to the availability of records if there are any. Hopefully, someone here at genes, will know. Kind regards, Elaine. (Australia) |
