If you have a common surname in your tree and have made very few connections with any other members by cross referencing similar names and dates,changing your first name to something distinctive or adding an unusual symbol at the end of your name might make you stand out-I believe this is how I was found by another member-we have the name Smith in common and Davies-2 very common surnames,and the locations were bigcities,so very difficult sifting through all the lists- what do you reckon?
