Hope she becomes a transcriber, it's so depressing to gointo FreeBMD and find the year you are interested in is only partially transcribed, and so good when you check a few months later and lo, there is the birth you wanted and you can get the certificate ordered. so WE NEED MORE TRANSCRIBERS. As for becoming an addict.... is it inevitable ....think it might be. No chance of weaning, off tomorrow morning, big dose beforehand is only option. Mavis

Mavis.. Do you think Lynda will be joining us? Hope you enjoy your holiday...yes you will have withdrawal symptoms I would suggest that you slowly wean yourself down day by day and do less and less each day that way you might be able to cope better while your away lol Loopy :~)

Loopy - No gave up and decided time would be better spent transcribing, going away for a couple of days very soon, so need a big fix to tide me over the withdrawl. Mavis

mavis when you go on it next time click on the favourites and it should ask if you want to attach it to your toolbar ( well on aol it does) its so much easier..... sylvia:-)

I get my scans from freebmd.rootsweb.com/scan-source2.shtml, can't see any of the links you mention. Not to worry I'll stop trying to find out how good/bad I am and just do some transcribing!! Mavis

HI EVERYONE mavis! if you have saved all your emails you will find the link there. i have it on my toolbar lesley! i have done two now and my eyes are on the blink..lol if i cant tell what the letters are i just put __ in between eg L__le_ or get the whole family involved...lol sylvia:)
