Michael, When I said 6 certs for one person, that included the certs for the deaths of his two wives. I stand corrected and by a man as well!! Ann |

Six certs relating to one person? Must have led a busy life. |

If Roger's claims were real, then the dust on the cupboard tops would NOT be thick, as he would have last done them about three days ago! Merry |

Interesting to read all these replies, I had an idea that some of you were on here 24/7. I look on here about, on average, 2 hours a week. In between I do very little research, as I seem to have to many other things to do. Since starting my tree about 2 years ago I have bought 6 certs, all relating to one person. I suppose, I was lucky, that at the start, I had quite a few family certs dating back to the middle of the 1800's handed down through the family. Ann |

And bake bread at 5.30 a.m. and go to Tescos for us - lets have a proper test here. Perhaps he should get Mrs Roger on the pc to give us authentication of these claims. |

I say Roger's lying. The only way he can prove me wrong is to clean all our houses. I've had my OH for over 30 years, and always said if he popped off the twig, I couldn't be bothered training another one. Wonder who trained Roger(if he's for real). |

I probably wouldn't, but I don't know what sort of company anyone else on here keeps... |

Yes, its not like you are likely to be inviting the BFG into the house is it? |

Clean the top? I thought that was where you dumped all the rest of the dust, where no-one could see it. |

Oh no! Are you supposed to clean the TOP of cupboards, then? What for? OC |

Don't worry, you can pick up outsize trainers for twenty quid if you know where to look... I possess one T-shirt emblazoned with 'Shanghai: May 1998' and several others which are probably roughly the same age but a little harder to pin down precisely. They reached my knees then; they don't now. |

Roger, hope the OH appreciates you. |

Honest, i'm real. Was up at 5.30 because it was too warm to sleep so I baked a loaf of bread. Walked down to Tesco's when they opened and got a couple of bits and then came home to make some houmous. (Is that how you spell it)? Vacuumed upstairs and cleaned the cupboard tops in the kitchen. You should have seen the muck up there...I am so ashamed. This pm after a walk with OH we did some dead heading in the garden. OH put the washing on and it all dried today so I was able to pair up some socks, fold them and put them in the airing cupboard. Just updated my FT programme and read the boards. We didn't get off to take photographs of rellies cottages down in Devon. Thought we could do that next week and combine it with a nice pub lunch and a stroll around the graveyard. Just had a look at the mess in this room and can assure you that I am very real. Its all a routine, boring but safe when you get to be older than Merry and probably even older than the Old Crone herself. Roger GC GC is for genes connected, the name that they gave this site before they decided that we all voted to change it! Surname is Whybrew also spellings of Wibrow, Wibrew, Wybrow, Wybrew, Wyborough, Whybrow etc etc. |

Drat Spent this morning frantically cleaning cause uncle and aunt were visiting and we sat outside in the garden all night. They only popped in the house for a few seconds, didnt even use the loo and I made a really good job of that. Oh well its done now, for a good few weeks Margaret |

Heather - I really marvel at your resourcefulness!! I'm not surprised that you have a stableful of 'house-glens' in tinsel pants dashing around in their size 14 socks polishing your floors!! So when are you inviting me over to check it out?? sarah :-) |

OC, Id tell her youve moved since you last spoke and then rent a fully fitted show house on a new development promising them you will buy it once youve tried it out for your life style. After mate goes tell them that its not up to your usual standard of living. |

Oh no OC don't let her do that!!! I had a friend stay when we lived in the middle east & she helped around the house & one day (oh horrors!) she emptied the tumble dryer & saw my horrid knickers - a small comment was passed & when she got back to England she sent me 2 x 7packs from M&S (the worst thing is that that was about 6 years ago & ..........****in a very small voice***** .....I've still got them!!! Sarah :-) |

No no! She has a terrible aversion to clutter and will throw out all my bits of paper and go through my knicker drawer...I really dont want anyone going through my drawers at my age. OC |

lol - forgot you used to be one of those!! Suggest you tell her you have particularly got the house dirty in the last 24 hours to see how good she is at cleaning......then let her come and remove the last 10 years worth of dirt! Merry |
