Don't worry, you can pick up outsize trainers for twenty quid if you know where to look... I possess one T-shirt emblazoned with 'Shanghai: May 1998' and several others which are probably roughly the same age but a little harder to pin down precisely. They reached my knees then; they don't now.

Oh no! Are you supposed to clean the TOP of cupboards, then? What for? OC

Clean the top? I thought that was where you dumped all the rest of the dust, where no-one could see it.

Yes, its not like you are likely to be inviting the BFG into the house is it?

Michael

I probably wouldn't, but I don't know what sort of company anyone else on here keeps...

I say Roger's lying. The only way he can prove me wrong is to clean all our houses. I've had my OH for over 30 years, and always said if he popped off the twig, I couldn't be bothered training another one. Wonder who trained Roger(if he's for real).

And bake bread at 5.30 a.m. and go to Tescos for us - lets have a proper test here. Perhaps he should get Mrs Roger on the pc to give us authentication of these claims.

Interesting to read all these replies, I had an idea that some of you were on here 24/7. I look on here about, on average, 2 hours a week. In between I do very little research, as I seem to have to many other things to do. Since starting my tree about 2 years ago I have bought 6 certs, all relating to one person. I suppose, I was lucky, that at the start, I had quite a few family certs dating back to the middle of the 1800's handed down through the family. Ann

If Roger's claims were real, then the dust on the cupboard tops would NOT be thick, as he would have last done them about three days ago! Merry

Six certs relating to one person? Must have led a busy life.

Michael, When I said 6 certs for one person, that included the certs for the deaths of his two wives. I stand corrected and by a man as well!! Ann
