Hi Teresa, I do not know if you can help me in this matter but it is worth a try.. My ggggrandfather's name was Allen Murray c 1812 in Londonderry and he married Helen Kelly circa 1823 also from the Derry/Donegal area of Ireland. I know that they came Greenock, Scotland sometime after 1860 with their 5 children. I can find Helen and the children but I can not find Allen anywhere although I do know that he is buried here in Greenock. Is there any other Name that Allen would go under? I know that although his name was Allen he may have been called something else like Patrick or something. I really do not know if you can help me in this matter but would be grateful if you could help in anyway. Regards Helen |
