Just hope you dont end up with your very own Jerry Springer - Your traced relatives (who all had the same surname before they married) all turn up at your house, brandishing iq's smaller than their shoe sizes, using drugs, falling out with the neighbours and having affairs with their daughter's husbands etc. Happy families. |

Escaped to the Country Trace your ancestors as they escape the slums of the city in search of health and happines in a small rural village, gasp at the great distance travelled between 1871 and 1881.Marvel at the number of friends they visit every ten years, and wonder who really fathered THAT child born the following spring. Hours of entertaining viewing guaranteed. |

Ancestors Road Show. Bring along your old rellies and a team of experts will tell you when and where they were made, whether or not they are fakes and most importantly of all, their value at auction. You can then put on a precious face for the camera and say 'Oh, I wouldnt DREAM of selling them, I'm not interested in the value, the sentimental value is priceless'. (And hope the camera doesnt follow your breakneck rush to the Auction house). Watch the faces of those who are told that their Ancestors are fakes - they paid thousands for them and will argue the toss with the experts. Express your horror at all those old Ancestors who have been covering up a damp patch in the Owners home for years, or have been part of the henhouse roof. Envy all those who just happened to pick up their ancestors in a skip, because they 'just liked them'. And snigger at all those who have been collecting miniature ancestors for years - of such extreme ugliness and tackiness that no respectable Auction house would put them up for sale - as the experts say - take them home and enjoy them.
