Hi Everyone, Looking for a second marriage for Leonard Philip Isaacs in Leicester roughly around late 1920's, to Rose ? (Not Rosetta Townsend, this was his first marriage). Unable to find births registered for two of his known sons, Miles and Frederick Lewis. I know that in the 1970's they lived in Ocean Close, Leicester. Leonard's D.O.B - 1894. Would appreciate any information at all. Thank You Anne P.S Leonard's father was a Commission Agent, does anyone know what this actually means?

Hi Mike, I'm looking for burials in Leicester at the moment. I've been searching on FamilyHistoryOnline, but their Leicester City burials only go up to 1909. If you have anything more recent, could you look up Lilla Annis and Horace Charles Annis for me? They both died after 1901.

As genuki didn't have anything, I used historicaldirectories*com and found: OSBASTON is a township, in the parishes of Cadeby and Marker Bosworth, pleasantly situated 2¾ miles north-east from Market Bosworth station…in the Western division of the county, Sparkenhoe Hundred, Market Bosworth petty sessional division, union and county court district. The church here has long been destroyed; the inhabitants attend the churches at Market Bosworth and Cadeby. Kelly’s 1891 (Part 2) If they didn't go there, it might mean a trawl through the surrounding areas . GENUKI gives these parishes as within 3 miles of Osbaston: BARLESTONE, CADEBY, MARKET BOSWORTH, NEWBOLD VERDON, CARLTON, NAILSTONE, SUTTON CHENEY, BAGWORTH. Hope this helps! Jan

Mike You're a wonder! Gosh, Marina - too much for the enumerators and possibly the family -she is always Maria - wonder whether the vicar had been at the old bottle. Oh - which year was the baptism? Jan
