I reported it earlier today to Abuse. If GR are not careful their lack of Monitoring could end up with them getting sued for permitting the publication of Libel. Maybe Adam Eveson will post something REALLY libellous about me, I could do with a few hundred thou.

I'm so glad I hardly ever go on the general board, as I have no idea what any of this is about. But I really wish GR had taken on board my suggestion to them some time ago that a member of staff look at the success board a couple of times a day and removes anything that shouldn't be there. Really, how long would it take them?! Kate.

Merry I did not realise that it was reported yesterday I do not really stray from this board so would not have known. I agree with you GR are at fault. It is still there with a couple of silly replies about the News of the world and Lawyers. Gwen

I saw this when I logged on this morning. Considering this is the only board that non members (and more importantly potential members) can view, I think it's pretty poor of GR that it hasn't been removed already. Even before I saw your thread I've reported it to abuse, surely this is not the image GR wants to portray.

Gwen (why do people not report them?).......Probably because when the same person posted the same info yesterday and people on general reported it, some hours later it was still there........(weekends on GR?) . I don't know if the original posting is still there now, but this new post is under yet another membership number and looks like the same person, so what's the point of reporting when GR just lets them join again and again and again and again etc?!! The person deletes their membership immediately after posting. The last two membership numbers were 5410381 and 5412595 which gives an idea of how many people joine GR in the space of a few hours!! Just read it and I agree with Paul he needs help. But there are also a few others on there that are not using it for their sucess stories and should be on the general board with the other children. Gwen

I cannot see it but do not understnd why those that have do not report it to GR to have it removed. I only go on the tips board for the same reasons as Merry and Linda. Gwen

If you'll read it you'll recognise the classic ramblings of the mentally disturbed. There's no point trying to make sense of it - the person should be pitied because they obviously should be getting help.

I have no idea who Adam and Eve is, but I thought, from reading the gen board from time to time, that what they have written (but shouldn't have done) is actually correct in at least some parts. Or at least other members who I believe to be genuine have written to the same effect in the past few weeks, but not in the same words. Apologies if I have everything wrong. I have not looked at General today, so there are probably other opinions on there. Merry

ugh, just went and read it. why do people have to do that? I do hope GR removes the posts. Out of curiosity what was this part about? 'Now those members who were barred have returned en-mass, on the same night, on the same thread' was it good members or bad members that got barred? I know on my other internet sites it's always the nice guys that get suspended and never the trouble makers. Helen

The other day there was a nasty thread naming names of people the poster thought were bullying him or her. Everyone on the general board at the time posted a success story to push it down a couple of pages but Genes should monitor it. The trouble is you don't have to be a paid member of Genes to post so people can just post under another name.

The Success board looks a mess doesn't it? What's with all of the huge expanses of nothing? It's such a shame, that's the first thing new people see when they come in, it must make them wonder what on earth this site is about.
