Next time you go to Records Office try the following :~ St. Saviour's Parish Church. St. Peter’s Parish Church. St. Chad’s Parish Church. St. Stephens Parish Church. If it was higher number on East Park Road try :~ St. James the Greater Parish Church. St. Philip’s Parish Church. Plus many Nonconformist Church Chapels and Roman Catholic Churches Which the Records Office might not have on record. But it might be quicker to order the Certificate from G.R.O. MIKE.

hi been ro this morning and no luck in finding the marriage of annie breward and willaim a jones /dodge 1924 what i do know i couldnt find the marriage in 1924 i looked under cosby where annie was born and no luck there i looked under st barnabas parish being they lived east park road but no luck there either any tips plz i so want to find this marriage sarah

Father :~ Thomas. Mother :~ Ann. Notes :~ Sarah born 2nd May Thomas is a Frame Work Knitter. And living in Woodhouse Eaves. Re you Marriage 1924 in Leicester. So….. It will be a trawl through Parish Registers then when you go to the Records Office. Whilst your there Perhaps you could check out Baptism Registers for Woodhouse. as it’s before Birth Registration So only way to be sure is to look at the Parish Registers. MIKE.

It will have the ages also Father's name & Occupation But 1st you have to know the Church they were married in Otherwise it's a trawl through Parish Registers of the known Churches within the area. Hi Sarah Once you have registered, go into which ever search you want eg marriage, all of these links are on the right hand side of the page. Once open, at the top of the page you will find certain criteria, choose which way you want to search. I often just put Leicester in after choosing registration district in the first box. Click on view next to the cert details and if you are lucky, the person who has put their cert on the net will have left an e-mail address. Elaine
