Morning Mike I missed one burial fo my Wards. Need to double check burial at St George's and entry burial and page no. for Sarah Ward 1 st November 1835 to see if it is Rutland Street and Dau of Jonas and Ann. All the others were spot on, stupidly I thought I had written 15th and we just ran out of time for me to look round for her and my coroner's report was not there as that year was missing, newspaper search on the cards the next time I go! Everyone was really nice, can't thank them enough. Elaine |

*** F.A.O. *** Sarah Wragg. Hungarton Parish Baptism Registers reads Thus :~ ANNO DOMINI. 1777. BAPTISMS. Harry Chambers/ Barsby. Baseborn Son of John Barsby ( Junior ) And Mary Chambers. July 10th. 1777. Thomas Clarke. Vicar. I believe I’ve already covered the possible Marriages before. As for the Burial of John Barsby ( re :~ your last request ) I really need years to be shortened otherwise it would be a too greater task And time consuming. ….. Plus taken the early years then the information would be very basic MIKE. |

Hello Mike Hope things are on the mend, no hiccups with the computer. Was wondering if you have any marriages on disc for Tugby. Have a reference for my Maria who marries a Ward (a fishmonger no less!), her father is James which I know because of Banns, but have been given access to a tree which has James Cook marrying Sarah Bryan 22/06/1829 in Tugby. Sarah is down as born in Ridlington, Rutland, James from Tugby. Thanks Elaine |

Been looking for the birth of my mystery gt gt gt g/m variously known as Nanne/Anne/Fanny HARRISON supposedly at Thurmaston/Thurnmaston North in 1774, for 20 years now. I've gotta fork out the bucks and get on to Ancestry.com one of these days!! |

Greeting’s & Welcome……… Michael. Using the resources I have to hand……. The closest I can come up with reads thus :~ ANNO DOMINI BAPTISMS :~ 1788. Ann Harrison. 3rd. August. 1788. THURMASTON. Father :~ Robert. Mother :~ Eliz. Population Head count 8th July. 1814. THURMASTON ( South ) ( the only returns for Thurmaston ).. Sorry. ........ William Harrison. 4 Males. 4 Females. William Harrison. 3 males. 2. Females. Thats the only information given on this the forerunner to Census returns we know today. Harrison Burials of note :~ THURMASTON. St. Michael’s Parish. Names. / Dates. / Ages. HARRISON Robert 24 Dec 1845 90 ABODE THURMASTON HARRISON Elizabeth 10 Oct 1838 73 ABODE THURMASTON N END The only way would be to trawl through the Parish Registers in the Records Office in Wigston OR. .... If you are near to a Latter Day Saints Family History Centre Then you could Hire the Fiches which cover these Parishes & years £2. 70. p per fiche last time I used this method. Ancestry data only covers BMD 1837 onwards Plus Census returns ......1841,~ 1901. MIKE. |
