Why are people so abusive (sometimes)?

Im not referring to anyone on GR by the way!! On a local newspaper forum, there is a lady in America wanting to find her daughter, in England. Other people on the site were posting daft replies etc, and I felt sorry for her, so I gave her some advice on sites she can use, electoral roll, BMD marriage index etc. I've just received an email of the most abusive nature telling me 'If you have nothing constructive to say keep your nose out'!!!!! I'm stunned. |
