hi, could you please help me find my grandmother she died when my late father was 6yrs old. her name was mary cunningham she was catholic and went to chester-le-street catholic church she married joseph witherspoon had children robert, josephine,william[my dad] and thomas and i think other children that died i cant seem to find her i only know about one sister called lizzie but nothing else ithink she would have been born about 1890 but im not sure my fathers date of birth was 18-11-1919 but there was children 10-12 yrs older than him im sorry i dont know much about my fathers side of family hope you can help.joseph was cof e but my father was baptised catholic he was born at pelton fell, chester-le-street,thats about all i know,thanks ann

I dont know how to thank you debs I have been looking for weeks I have tried always to find out about john. I have the records from the 1901 census but because his mother was in a second marriage that was harder trying to trace them. you have given me more information than you needed to have but I realy am greatful.

Hi Debra, I found these 'Mitchell's on Genes census and they may be my missing rellies. Please could you give me more details of who they lived with. George Mitchell was my grandad .. birth details unknown. All I have is his marriage cert 1876 in Liverpool. That states his age as 'full', and occ was a Mariner. His wife Arabella was born in 1851c so I presume he was around 1850c. I havent found him on any census, only his wife and family. Thank you for your offer.
