Barbara if your mum can remember the cemetary he was buried in you may find info on the headstone. |

Hi Barbara All the deaths for a Thomas W Ayres between 1950 - 1960 inclusive are the ones i have listed. See what your mum thinks it might jog her memory Happy Hunting & i hope you get the right one Sandra It narrows it down to the death in southampton, & the 2 births 1874 Hull or 1880 Witney. |

Sandra, I had a word with Mum and she confirms the date as 1951 - so I was off target there, she also said that he was cremated at Stoneham Crematorium so I will try for records there. There still seems to be a discrepancy over birth date but I will investigate - prob. take a chance on buying the record you found. Thanks again for all your help and advice. (That goes for everyone else who answered my query too.) Barb |
