Anis, sorry been up to my eyes but you seem to have got the hang of searching ancestry - have you got your program/sub already? I am intrigued by the two welshs marrying the Coakley - may just be a coincidence as she should have married the second time in her married name. Probably a red herring. If you have time, see if you can find two Julias in the censuses. Im having a prob reading at mo, my eyesight isnt great now and Ive lost my proper glasses, just using some bought at the chemists for £7.50 and they arent too wonderful.

Anis - no you dont only have access to 1881 - woo hoo - check out my thread on the three free days trial. Go to ancestry*com/ and enter a search - they will then offer you 3 days free trial to EVERYTHING - not just the UK records but all of the records. Go on, off you go now - replace the asterisk with a full stop You mean once it gets to page 20? All you have to do is click on View My threads at the top of the page and it will bring up any you have contributed to. Now get on with that searching kiddo!

hi. Just for info. I got the marriage cert for Fletcher/Oxenham. James's dad was also a James henry Oxenham..... and he was a general dealer too. Their adress for james and his fianceé at the time of marriage was 11 king and queen street? 1896. Looks like you found the right familly.......thanks you Anis
