Hi Linda, I'm looking for the following people, all of whom emigrated to Australia: Amelia Inman b. 1838, widow, emigrated between 1881 and 1892 possibly her brother Alfred Chandler b. 1833 (not sure if he emigrated: can't find him after 1881, but I can't see him on Australian indexes either) her brother Andrew Chandler b. 1835 (emigrated between 1851 and 1886) and her children: Andrew Inman b. 1867, emigrated between 1881 and 1892 Ada Eliza Inman b. 1874, emigrated between 1881 and 1901 George Alfred Inman b. 1878, emigrated between 1881 and 1916 Not sure if they travelled together or separately. They all ended up in NSW except Ada and George, who settled in Western Australia. Several of Amelia's other siblings and children emigrated to NSW, but I've found all of them on passenger lists. Thanks a lot, Mary |

Hi Linda, I am trying to find May Jones b. Dec. 1890. In the 1901 census the family were in Perth, Scotland. She marrried ( 1914 ) in Victoria, BC. Canada. I have found her sister Naomi b. 1899 and brother Richard b. 1903 in Canada, but not sure if they travelled with her, their mother is Cecilia Jones b.1865. Thanks for trying, OC&G |

Hi, thanks for the offer. Could you possibly check for the following: I have a family from Wicklow in Ireland. It was a Peter and Elizabeth Murray, they had a least 2-3 children with them on the crossing. Destination was Australia - I think Melbourne. I have not had any luck with how they went to Australia. Time frame was about 1916-1918. Many thanks. |
