This looks like them Sheila but no sign of Harry. I will go back and have another look. Quite often I have found the husbands went out before the wife and children presumably to sort out a job and living accommodation. Although the image says R. Hazeldine for the wife it is K on the original ships log. If you would like the original image PM me you email address. Off now to have another look for Harry Passenger lists leaving UK 1890-1960 Name: Mrs R HAZELDINE Date of departure: 19 September 1912 Port of departure: Liverpool Destination port: Quebec Destination country: Canada Age: 36 Marital Status: Sex: Female Occupation: Wife Notes: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following people with the same last name travelled on this voyage: - Mstr H HAZELDINE Miss I HAZELDINE Miss M HAZELDINE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ship: EMPRESS OF IRELAND Official Number: 123972 Master's name: J V Forster Steamship Line: Canadian Pacific Railway Atlantic Steamship Line Where bound: Quebec, Canada Square feet: 15412 Registered tonnage: 8028 Passengers on voyage: 1486 Linda |

Hi, Would it be possible for you to do a search for the following people. Sidney Horn Cawley born 1887 in South Brent, Devon and his wife, Nina E V Cawley along with their children Sidney J and Joan N H Cawley, they were both born in Chard, Somerset and Joan was only born in 1920. Could you also do me a favour by looking up a Ruth May Hookway, born 1884 in Middlesex and her husband Thomas Hookway. They may well have gone prior to 1920. Also, again from the same family a Charlotte Cotton born 1855 South Brent. Did you spot the deliberate mistake then - they went to Canada Thank you so much for all your help. Kind Regards Jane (Victoria is my first name) |

Thanks anyway Linda, I'm not surprised you had no luck, that's always the problem with Taylors - there are just so many of them. Regards, Anne |

You must be kept very busy, Linda, with all the requests for help, and I am sure your kindness is appreciated, thank you. I have been looking for JAMES MCDOUGALL. He was to go to live with his sister in Vancover, Canada. Because my grandparents took him to the TITANIC I think his parents may have died by then. They watched him go on board but did not know he got off again, he had left his coat where they had had a cup of tea. On return to the ship he found the gang plank had gone up and he did not sail. However he went over on the next ship but I do not know which that would be. His name does not seem to be on the Titanic list. I do not know his age but guess he would be late teens. For added interest, his sister was not at the port to meet him thinking he had gone down with the Titanic and so he asked a port policeman for help. The story goes that the policeman used to live near James sister in Vancover and knew her! I do not have any other information about him i.e.birth or parents names. If you can help I would be grateful but realise I may not have given you much information to go on. Regards, Gill |

Hi Linda - could I ask another favour. At the weekend I found that William and Minnie UREN went to NZ before they came to Australia. They had at least two of their children by then - Leonard Sydney (dob 1893) and Harold Frederick (dob 1891). to make it easier William Salmon Uren Mary Anna [Minnie] Uren Harold Frederick and Leonard Sydney. They had been living in Bristol, Glos. I do not know where they sailed from, so if this is too much of a pain, just give it a miss - and thanks anyway for reading this!! Victoria |

Hi SSilver, No sign of any Quickenden's, George or Elizabeth. I have tried all spellings, all countries, and all dates and no one comes anywhere near it. The other one is too late for the dates offered.. They are extending them but I don't know when Linda |

Hi Victoria, Sorry I took so long getting back to you but I had been having a good search, as with such good information from you I felt sure I would have found something Unfortunately absolutely nothing on any of the names. As with others I have difficulty with I searched all different spellings of the name, all dates and all countries. Just in case they went somewhere else first but all with no luck Linda |

Linda, thanks for the kind offer, could you please look for a female Coldwell in 1893 travelling from London to Melbourne Australia. Also (If you don't mind) could you check for the same, female Coldwell in 1901 (aged 36) travelling from Liverpool to Cape South Africa. |
