Marriage Settlements c 1533

I have from the Local Library transcribed and typed - I woudl guess in the 1950s It is dated -
1 December 26 Henry V111, so identified as 1533

The only problem is, the the named parties (bride & groom) do not appear to have been born until 1542 and the bride 1546.
I do not know where the origianl document is - and presubaly in Latin. There is parish record for the marriage.
They are shown on the Visitation of Heralds - but no dates...

Any suggestions on how to check it ?

Can't the librarians offer any help/advice?

Henry VIII was King of England from 22 April 1509 until his death in 1547

So in the 26th year of his reign.

Marriages were sometimes arranged when the children were very young but unusual for before they were born.

Have you asked the county archives if they have the original or maybe the National Archives.

The trees on the Visitations are only what the family remember or think - a bit like the trees on Ancestry ;-)
