Sheila emigrated with her husband Czeslaw (born in Poland) and their son Edmond. They then had a daughter Victoria born in America. Czeslaw already had a brother living in America. Catherine might have only gone for a visit. |

Edward Bailey married Catherine’s sister Violet so Catherine was living with her sister and brother in law. Sheila married a man called Szelest and died in N.j. In 2001. |

Sheila appears to have emigrated to the USA, so her death won’t have been picked up, and her record will remain closed until 2030, or someone has it opened - whichever is first |

They had a daughter Sheila born 1930 but I know she was only young when they separated. Eventually they divorced and the wife moved to America with the daughter. |

I would be grateful if someone could look at the 1939 register for the above. John was born in Preston Lancashire in 1904. He married Catherine in Preston 1929 and they had a daughter Sheila born 1930. I don’t think he would have lived with his parents but they were Thomas born about 1876 and Jane born about 1878. Both parents were born in Blackburn, Lancashire but married in Preston. |
