Philip is on a lot of trees - eventually lived in England and, if some of the trees are right about the birth of another child, may have been a soldier.

Well done Madrid, Ididn’t have more time earlier. The 47th Foot were on Barbados 1868-1870 which may give some credence to the second birth in some of the An entry trees.

The Full picture is

My grandmother was Mary Agnes Knox born as Mary Agnes Cullen in 1897 in Kilkenny. She had an elder bother called John [possibly a twin] who was born 2 years before her.

Her Parents [as per her birth record ] were John Cullen and Mary Cullen nee Comerford. Mary was born in 1861 She was baptised in may 1861 in Urlingford co. Kilkenny , her Father was Philip Comerford and her mother Mary Bradly.
The census of 1901 shows John and Mary with their 2 children resident in 25/21c6 Kilkenny street Castlecomer [where my grandmother said she lived. She also talked about a castle in the family history]

The 1911 census shows they were married for 25 years had 10 children of which 4 survived. Based on the 25 years marriage I found a church record dated 1 July 1886 Abbeyleix district [just north of Castlecomer ] of the marriage between John Cullen and Mary Comerford. Unfortunately there is little more detail.
I contacted the parish and asked if they had more details but the dont. They did say that the Heritage house in Abbeyleix may have more details but my request to them hasn't received a reply yet. I also asked for help from the diocese of Ossory but whilst they were helpful I didn't get any more information.

So my questions are
Re the marriage "are they the same people as those on the birth record?
the dates etc do tie up with later records.
Is Phillip Comerford the same as Philip born in 1832 at Gurtnagap , the son of Thomas Comerford and Margarete Comerford [born Dowling ?
