Looking at the images again I think the abbreviation IS Cotton Sto Maker which is Cotton Stocking Maker. |

Don't think my eyes are better than anyone's names. Just used to the way the enumerators shortened things in those days. It would make it easier for all of us if they wrote words out fully. |

You're welcome. There are also other people in adjoining images doing the same job and also some described as Cotton Ho(Hose) seamers. Presumably they finished off the garments. |
