How can the children be DOBBS if the parents are NOBBS?

I have Nat V Dobbs b 1903 and a brother Cecil F Dobbs b 1907 .

Now they are on the 1911 census with parents Alice E Nobbs b1875 and father William S Nobbs b 1866 Depwade Norfolk.

But I am looking for marriages and deaths but the strangest thing is I cannot see either of these children's births. I have looked on Famsearch.org , FreeBMD and on Genes but there is no trace of births or deaths??
Any suggestions please?
