Yes the Lara marriage is my uncle, so I assume her marriage to George bishop ended in divorce, and they had no kids. That’s very interesting about he4 maybe being adopted

So it looks as though Beatrice Winifred may have been adopted (?) by Charles and Beatrice Ward - though why she's listed as Bishop in 1939, I can't imagine.

No, in light of later posts, she was Ward in 1939, and later Bishop and then Lara.

The second marriage was to LARA...............I assumed that was known
