Occasional copy (birth certificate)

As I understand it an occasional copy is because the original entry was amended in some way after the certified copy was sent to the gro |

Hello Erika, yes they are exactly the same. I had seen an example when googling where the first entry was as you would expect on the GRO and the second entry had occasional copy: A, but the two I am looking at are both exactly the same, both showing occasional copy. Thanks. |

Hello, on the GRO website there are two entries for the same birth and both entries are identical both saying Occasional Copy: A. After googling "occasional copy", I think it means there has been an amendment on the birth certificate. If I wanted to apply for the birth certificate which one would I click, or would I have to order both, and if I did, would they be the same or show different information? Thank you. |
