My grandfather was only 14 when he registered his father's death in 1896. They grew up quickly in those days and weren't children for long. |

Well done Alviegal, great work. I spent an hour or two last night 'walking round' Stockbridge in the 1911 census, starting with the workhouse, and wondering if he had been a rough sleeper at the time of the census. |
