Hoping to find him. Lived around the western side of Totton, Hampshire 1954 to 1960
maybe in Netley Marsh.
Went to Southampton School of Building.
Born around 1940.
I thought he had a younger sister.
Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like born in 1940 exactly (registered in 4th quarter) , with middle initial P.

As there was no other Alan P Hopkins born in 1940 (at least not in England/Wales/Scotland), sadly this is likely to be his death:

You mentioned a possible younger sister.

Looking at FreeBMD, his parents probably married in the New Forest RD in 1933, and there are four probable siblings for Alan P, registered in the same district.

All are older than Alan - two brothers and two sisters.

I don't think the poster is related to Hopkins. Just someone he knew in his youth
