How did you work back over 170 years without knowing about at least some of her relations

It would be good if you gave a bit more info....................... PLEASE!

Welcome to the boards David.

If you look in "search" at the top right of the screen and then click on "search all member trees" and put Catherine Duffy in the search box you will find two other people with Catherine Duffy born 1846 in their trees. However, as you don't say where she was born they may not be the same person. If you think they may be then you can click on "find out more" and send a message to the tree owners.
