I wonder if anyone can help me track down my great grandfather. Robert James Puttee, I know he was born in 1876, in Peckham and the last document that I have of him on is my grandfather, Robert Cecil Puttee's birth certificate, in 1901, after that I can find no trace of him. The family story, was that he left my grandmother and his two sons and emigrated to America, but I can find nothing to substantiate that. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be lovely. Thanks.
