Indeed, I didn't find anything (in the first ten pages or so) which seemed helpful but there are others here who have more success with searches (particularly with newspapers ;-)) than I do. |

After WWII such bodies were set up to help ex-servicemen get their old jobs back. I know there was one in Leeds, one in Hackney (London), and one in Birmingham for example. I would like to get access to the archives of the Hackney Tribunal for 1946. I have asked the Hackney Archives but they could not find anything. I wondered whether anyone here might have some knowledge of how these tribunals worked and where their records might be kept, please. |
