Thank you all for replying, but wow, special thanks to Choccy. This is almost certainly the Court case thatI was hoping to locate. The Street is the right one but I had very little more info. Thank you once again. I am delighted and amazed. |

Does anyone know how I can find out details of a Court case which was held in London in 1936? It involved a lady who was resident in a road in Bloomsbury, Holborn and who was initially charged with murder, but the charge was later reduced to manslaughter. This charge was made as the result of an abortion which ended in the death of the pregnant woman. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the woman or the Court at which the trial was made and I don't know the verdict. |
