I'm trying to find out the parents of Donald Price born 1908 in Perth Scotland living in Lambeth.
With uncle and aunt in the 1911 census.

There isn't a Donald Price birth registered in Perth Scotland in 1907--1909.



Edit, or any variants of the Christian name.,neither in the surname of--Ashley/Astley.or Pryce..

IF - and I stress IF - he was a blood nephew, one of his parents must be a sibling of either the aunt or uncle

Perhaps Donald thought Thomas was his father, if he'd brought him up from babyhood?
Or maybe he gave Thomas's name because he didn't know who his father was?

If his birth was illegitimate, it may have been registered under his mother's surname,(assuming his father was a Price) in which case we'll probably never know who his parents were.

There were 5 Donalds registered in Perth in 1908, not to mention any who might have been registered at the start of 1909.
