Thanking you for your prompt reply Frederick Louis Harding dob 17th May 1914 this is correct l would like to know his mother and father as he was given to some relation in Chatteris when he was only 2 years old we do not know why this was some people say his parents died but l do not think this is the case when he was 14 years old 2 gentlemen came to the door to give him money people say this was because his father was in the police and it was some kind of insurance money. l would like to thank you so much for all the hard work you have done on this and all l need is who was his mother and father and what happened for his to be placed in Chatteris Cambridge Thanking you Virginia Harding with a little knowledge on Geneology

For information, the Harriet Porter born at Elmstead, Essex was baptised on June 29 1851 at the church of St Anne & St Lawrence, Elmstead, daughter of James and Martha Anne, James was a farmer.
