Thank you for taking time to help me everyone. My grandfather Wilfred has the occupation as a smallware dealer. I never knew either of my grandparents, as my father never spoke about his past or his family, that is why I have hit a dead end |

Thank you ArgyllGran, my father was called brian Wilson born 29th june 1933 in Manchester. His father was Wilfred Wilson and his mother was called kate Wilson(nee juckes), other than that I have no more information |

Your father's birth certificate should show your grandmother's maiden name, so you can then search for your grandparents' marriage. (https://www.freebmd.org.uk/ ) |

I have only got my grandparents names to go on, no birth dates and no death dates. My grandmother is on my fathers birth certificate as Kate, but I know this could have been abbreviated. I am at loss to how to continue searching information. Anyone have any ideas for me to persue. Thanks in advance :-( |
