Try the parks and cemeteries dept of the local council ,give them the details from the death cert |

My great, great grandmother died in Preston Lancashire so I took the death certificate to the council cemetery and they looked in their records and found the burial. Unfortunately she was also buried in a communial grave but they gave me a map and I found it. It was only a large plot of land with no markers so wasn't very helpful. |

I am wondering if anybody could advise me where to look for somebody buried in 1948 I have the death certificate and understand it could have been a communial grave but don't know where to start looking for where the person was buried any ideas where to go next would be appreciated thanks |
