Thank you so much for your replies. The 1952 one in Lanarkshire looks as if it could be the right one. We know the month and date of her birthday - it was just the year we were unsyure about. Your help much appreciated.

You can look her up yourself, initial trawl is free for a list of Maria Kellys born in your time span. Just put Maria Kelly and those with initials will show up too. Put in too much and nothing will show.

If you want more than the year you would have to buy the certificate (can do through the site). There is a 100 year privacy rule for showing the digitised certificate on the site.

Do you know what the G M stands for?

There's one such birth in Lanarkshire in 1952, but I can't say if that's the one you're looking for or not.

Do you know where she married, so that I can check if the names match? (Assuming her G name is given in full in the marriage record, that is.)
EDIT:
No, if she married in Coventry, the record only gives the initials.

Researching:

We are a group of ex-work colleagues and one of our group moved away. We are wondering how old she is now as we don't want to miss a significant birthday. We believe she may have been born in Scotland, Maria G M Kelly.. Is it possible for someone to have a look and see if they can find her year of birth. She married in 1970 so we are guessing at late 1940's or early 1950's. Thanks.
