Hello Lorraine..I can offer the following as a live possibility:_

WILLIAM WELLS baptised St.Mary Nottingham 31.03.1782...son of Thomas Wells of Kent and Esther nee Freeman of Nottingham....

Married ANN LOWE St Mary Nottingham 28.04.1824

their first child:-- ELIZA baptised 28.06.1824...not quite a shotgun wedding..but not far off!!..but sadly it looks like she died 24.07.1824...
