	The Whitham Family Tree on ancestry ......... which seems to be Karen's own tree .............. shows the following as William's parents Charles Meller Whitham 1857 – 1901 Emily Critchley 1860 – AND a whole lot of information on William's travels, presumably as a seaman.

	The Bell Family Tree on Ancestry has a date of 2nd October 1923 for the marriage, so, presumably, the owner must have or have seen the marriage cert but, oddly, there is no father entered for either William or Elizabeth. It might be worth contacting the owner.

	Karen has William Whitham b. 1899 on her tree. A tree on Ancestry has this but no date of birth or parents. William Whitham Birth 1899 in Manchester, Lancashire, England Death 19 October 1935 in SS Vardulia 7.00am North Atlantic Ocean Lat 58.03,3XXW Lon 18.33.8 8XXW Marriage to Elizabeth Nunn 1923 2 Oct — Age: 24 Salford Lancashire England Wedding day We need to know the details he gave for his father when he married. Also need to know where the information on his place of birth came from.

	?????????????/ There are several Public Family Trees on ancestry with this Cecil Whitham born in 1899 in Salford, Lancashire ALL of them have him dying in 1957, in Salford. We DO need much more information that you have so far provided we need to know .............. his forename (or forenames) his father's name .......... and any other information from his marriage certificat eif you have it the name of his wife!

	I am trying to locate my grandfathers birth certificate to find out his parents names. I think I have looked at every Whitham in the UK with a birth date of 1899. I have found his marriage certificate and his date of death at sea in 1935. Any suggestions please. He was born in Salford Lancashire in 1899 :-D
