Hi , thanks for that , I have managed too find that out,my mum Violet had me late in life and never told me about her past she left Amesbury and moved too Bristol , I was told buy one of her sons I just met that her dad was Jack her mum was Elsie but this seems too much of a coincidence but I can't find anywhere were it says they had 2 daughters ,I was told they travaled fairgrounds before settling in Amesbury looking at Ayres and Hughs they look like quite large family's so probably only relatives would be distant cousins , I find all this fascinating but have hit a brick wall , and too be Honest was not that surprised when this information was given too me as I have very dark hair and eyes and they say I resemble a Romanian gypsy , not so much of a joke now . Is there any were else I can look for information too see if they had 2 daughters one of which is my mum , what's all this mean was my mum a gypsy too am I half gypsy ,is there any way I can find information on extended realitives,Just got my mums birth certifacate mothers name Hughs seems like they spelt Ayres Eyres in diffent ways just trying to track some distant relatives think that is going to be very hard , wondered what they did before they settled down . Thanks |

Sorry, I should have added that there is a great possibility that James Smith lived on Manchester Road, Mossley during the war. Thanks. |
