Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 5,200 Send Message	I want to know (and its a long shot) where men tended to gravitate to when they arrived by boat in England. My grandfather came from Sweden in 1946 aged 18, and settled in London for a short while doing any job he could. But is anybody else looking at this sort of research; does anybody know which areas the men went to? I cant see him on the electoral roll. He returned to Sweden for a while then came back in the early 1950's- this time docking in Hull, and went to live in Nottinghamshire.
