Hi everyone. |

I'm the same Roy. There is definitely only one birth registered in Chapel en le Frith in 1923, not two. I wonder where John got that information from. |

I'm totaly confused by John's response to what has been found, Thats why i posted the details for where a Buxton birth would have been registered. |

I see now where I went wrong. I thought you knew that "your" John B. Pick did actually marry Gene Atkinson. I assume that you just thought that this was so. |

Thanks again Mary. I am wondering if there were any Picks born in Scotland between 1942 and say 1965 with mother's maiden name of Atkinson? I haven't access to Scottish BMD's |

Thanks for your help everyone. I think there's the strong likelihood that they are still alive and had no children. Did anyone notice if John had just the one sibling: a sister, Edith Gladys Pick b.1920 who married Burrand F. Cox 1940 and died 1990? I have info and descendants for her but never found if these were the only 2 siblings in the family. |

I couldn't find a birth of a John B. Pick with mother's maiden name Atkinson so I don't think Gene is living with a son. In fact I don't think they had any children as far as I can see. |

Thanks everyone. John Bagshawe Pick married Mildred Nelson (from Cape Town) and I believe this is probably an unlikely coincidence but not ruling it out yet. |

Not sure that is the same John B. Pick that John is looking for. As per my earlier post there is a John B. Pick and Gene Pick still living together on the 2013 Electoral register. |
