Flip - where did you get Philip's details family details from, nothing is coming up for me.

The census record is from Ancestry, when he showed up as their lodger I looked for him to see if he was actually brother in law as the Fanny I found getting married was a Butler.

Just took a look at the 1851 image - mother Eliza was unmarried, and there is this christening for older sister Ann

I've just found Fanny's christening date of 7/5/1843 and Eliza is still unmarried.
