Chris,
Don't think this is the Emma, wife (nee Hawes) of David Solomon TEPPER. As far as I can discover there is no daughter Sarah in our Family. David Solomon and Emma's children are Joseph Eliezer Bn 1844, David Greshan (Gershon) Bn 1846 and Miriam Bn 1847. Many Thanks

Chris Ho :)

(found a newspaper article, 1850 relating to Solomon David Tepper, aged 36 of Chesterton, Hebrew teacher, converted Polish Jew, concerning a daughter Sarah Emma aged 7, leading to him being transported for life)

I read the full trial report yesterday. Didn't make pleasant reading and whether the details are true or not we will never know. Sarah Emma the daughter was the first born child of the couple.
