Same as Jax has mentioned, i dont have the "torn paper" icon indicating compatibility view or not.

So it must be a Ancestry problem.All other sites i use shows the icon

This is windows 7 IE9 and has been ok until today and there is no torn piece of paper icon on the ancestry page...sure it was there before??

I have 2 PCs
One works on window7 the other is a MAC.
If I copy and paste stuff from Ancestry using theWindows7 one...I get those gaps too, but it doesn't happen with the MAC?
Will ask my resident Techno Geek... when she comes downstairs for dinner!

Edit:
Just tested The Ancestry problem theory but copying and pasting via the MAC is still fine.

Is it something to do with Ancestry?? I noticed it happened to me today so have just tested it here...I'm using IE9 and has been ok up until today

I had that too Gins. Took ages to edit everything so switched to google chrome.

I've just updated IE to version 10 and when I copy & paste, I have big gaps between the text lines :-S

I have entered it onto the compatibility view, along with Ancestry

I just knew I would have problems with the update
