Is it possible that the birth of child in 1907 may not have been registered? I can find no record of my Grandfather's birth despite an extensive search. To give a bit of background, his Mother was 16 years old when she gave birth to him & was unmarried. I have tried everything & am completely stumped - workhouse records, Scottish records (in case she was sent away to give birth) & various names/surnames - all to no avail. Any advice would be greatly received. Many Thanks. |
