He should have been registered, but maybe just as 'male.then surname.

Was he raised by his mother?
What name was he known by at marriage and throughout his life?
Where do you suspect he was born?

Is it possible that the birth of child in 1907 may not have been registered? I can find no record of my Grandfather's birth despite an extensive search. To give a bit of background, his Mother was 16 years old when she gave birth to him & was unmarried. I have tried everything & am completely stumped - workhouse records, Scottish records (in case she was sent away to give birth) & various names/surnames - all to no avail. Any advice would be greatly received. Many Thanks.
