i didnt mention in my original post but my elderly relation mentioned the name "johnny boswell" so this would confirm monk/boswell marriage |

If the US army draft card is correct, it named Elizabeth as wife & nok, it is dated September 1918 - which would indicate they were still together in the US. |

I think George Boswell died in 1886 in Hampshire (age 25), it's possible but I can't be sure as it doesn't give his middle name - the only real clue is the shipyards - he was a boilermaker and likely worked in the shipyards - Thomas Arthur was born Barrow in Furness, again a shipyard town. |
