Would someone with an Ancestry sub check out the Edward Horsey b1893 in Liverpool in 1901? |

Just to throw another thing into the mix - apparently my grandfather was sometimes called Bert. I have no idea why but have wondered if one of his names was Albert or Robert although neither is on his marriage or death certificate. However 2 of his sons were named Albert and Bert (yes really). I have tried using these names when looking for his birth but with no success. |

28 Gordon Street is where my grandparents lived so its definitely him on the New York Passenger (crew) list. He must also have been the stowaway in 1912! The other stowaway's address was close so they must have been mates. Edward married my grandmother the following year - I do hope he wasn't running away from her!! |

It's clearer if you look at the original on Ancestry. |

The links work MarieCeleste, but really small! I can't see a way to enlarge them. |

Re stowaway Edward's age in 1912, they probably asked him when he was born, he said 1892, and they assumed age 20. |

Pure speculation, but there's this Henry Hornby, dock labourer, boarding in west Derby in 1911: |

Thank you all yet again. MC I'd be interested to see the photo on FMP as I do have just one photo of him myself. Can you remind me of what FMP is please? I have a sub with Ancestry - will that help? |
