A marriage didn't come up in the Evercreech material I was looking at either, I'm sorry to say.

I have in the past used te 14 day free trial on Ancestry so I don't think I would qualify again. However I understand Ancestry can be accessed free at the local library so that might be worth trying.

I have just found some of this information on the new version of IGI Family Search I hadn't realised they had updated their site this year, I had been working from the older version on my favourites bar which was hopeless. Still there is no marriage for William Backhouse and Hester Colston.

The Parish info I posted was from Ancestry. There is a section on there for Evercreech.........it might pay you to take out their 14-day free trial.

I know it's not the same parents John and Ann, but wondered if it might be John's baptism?
