I suspect that those whose subscription expired before a certain date (1 Jan 2013 ?) could renew at the old rate. |

After reading the first few posts on this thread I tried to access my account to see what it said about my sub. rate. After a lot of trouble, including messages to Genes, I finally managed to look at it. |

I also looked at the "How much does it cost" section and it lists the types of sub offered but NOT how much each costs |

The only way I can see to find the current subscription rate is to sign out, go to home page, scroll down to the bottom where it says Subscribe and click on View Options. |

I agree. That information, though, is meant for new members, not for us "oldies". What I would like is what rate I am paying/due to pay shown on "My Account". |

I too would like it to show on "My Account". When I renewed a few months ago I had a heck of a job to get the correct rate. They offered me a discount of I think it was 20% but then they took off the full amount. It took half a dozen e-mails to sort it out. Very frustrating. They ended up giving me a refund and cancelling my subscription before it was sorted and I paid the discounted rate. |

Gai, you joined in 2008, like me and I pay the same (£9.95) for 6 months that some of the earlier members pay for a year. Scozz joined in 2005 and is presumably in the "earlier" group. |

You won't feel ripped off now Gai as everyone is going to pay the same for the same service. You should get a reduction of 20% for perompt renewal. |

I agree that you ought to be offered to change to a yearly sub. |
